THERMOFORMING

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mold, and trimmed to create a usable product. The sheet is heated in an oven to a high-enough temperature that it can be stretched into or onto a mould and cooled to a finished shape.
Thermoforming is usually used for high volume products like cups, tubs, containers, plates, disposables, etc. Thermoforming has the advantage of higher productivity as compared to injection moulding and vacuum forming. All our thermoforming machines use state-of-the-art PLC controls to guarantee excellent precision and finish. We have the capacity to produce up to 1 million components per day.
