THICK SHEET FORMING
Forming of sheets having thicknesses greater than 2mm is usually referred to as Thick Sheet (Heavy Gauge) Forming. Thick Sheet Formed parts are used as cosmetic surfaces on permanent structures such as kiosks, automobiles, trucks, medical equipment, material handling equipment, refrigerators, shower enclosures, electrical and electronic equipment.
Heavy gauge parts are often accompanied by secondary processes like trimming to final shape, additional drilling, cutting or finishing, depending on the product. Heavy-gauge products typically are of a "permanent" end use nature. We can form sheets upto 6mm thickness and with a footprint of 1600mm × 1200mm
